Romania has inaugurated its 100th daycare center, part of a government program funded by European and state resources. Premier Ilie Bolojan announced that an additional 10 centers will open soon, enhancing early education access for families. The latest center in Cluj-Napoca offers 110 spots and meets high energy efficiency standards. The initiative aims to support young families and create nearly 6,000 places in state-run daycares. By the end of August, a total of 110 centers are expected to be completed under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.
