Simona Radiș and Adriana Adam secured the gold with a time of 6:49.04, surpassing their previous record. This victory marked Radiș's 10th European title, showcasing her transition from sculling to rowing. The Romanian men's team also performed well, with Ștefan Constantin Berariu and Florin Sorin Lehaci winning gold in men's double sculls. The overall performance exceeded previous years, solidifying Romania's dominance in the sport.
