10.000 de euro pentru o viață nouă în Grecia. Programul care vrea să readucă oamenii în regiunile depopulate
Greece is expanding a program offering up to €10,000 to individuals and families relocating to certain isolated areas to combat demographic decline. The initiative includes an advance payment of 50% to ease initial moving costs and removes the previous employment contract requirement, making it accessible to freelancers and recent graduates. Applications will open in October, covering six regional units and specific mountainous municipalities. The Greek Minister of Social Cohesion emphasized that financial incentives alone won't solve depopulation issues, highlighting the need for investments in essential services and infrastructure to retain new residents.
