Officially established in 2024, this day recognizes the long-standing tradition of mountain rescuers. The campaign "-1" aims to reduce serious accidents and emphasizes the importance of responsible decision-making while hiking. Over the past 25 years, mountain accidents have increased, highlighting the need for awareness. With over 122 years of history, Salvamont Romania has saved over 75,000 people and continues to provide essential support to those in need.
