Recent reports indicate that Russia has suffered significant military losses in Ukraine, with 1,370 soldiers killed in just 24 hours. Since the invasion began on February 24, 2022, the total Russian military casualties are estimated at approximately 1,431,900. The Ukrainian military claims that Russia has lost over 12,161 tanks, nearly 25,000 armored vehicles, and thousands of artillery systems and drones. While Ukraine has not disclosed its own losses for security reasons, Western analysis suggests that Russian casualties are considerably higher than those of Ukraine, with estimates indicating a ratio of 2.5 to 1 or 2 to 1 against Russia. The report also estimates Ukrainian military deaths between 100,000 and 140,000 from February 2022 to December 2025.
