Recommended next steps
- Follow the official channels of the Presidential Administration for any full video transcriptions.
- Compare with a primary source (document/report) for the key figure/statement.
- Check the date and context: whether the statement was valid only for a certain period or for a region.
Analysis limitations
- The analysis is based on publicly available sources at the time of verification.
- The central claim is verified only through secondary media reports — among the cited evidence, no primary source (the named publication, the court portal, the original document) appears.
- For the claim 'Șerban Cantacuzino built a hermitage at the Cotroceni Palace about three and a half centuries ago and chose Saints Sergius and Bacchus as its patrons,' the sources contain passages on the same theme, but none explicitly resolve it; the claim remains unverified, and the found evidence
- An official denial from the Presidential Administration regarding the President's presence or the accuracy of the quotes.
