Stadionul din Oradea, amânat: Banii de la stat vin în 2028

The construction of the new stadium in Oradea faces a significant delay as state funding has been postponed to 2028. The local government had prepared to start work next year, but the national budget allocation for stadiums in Oradea, Timișoara, Brașov, and Slatina has been pushed back by a year. The total project cost is approximately 1.42 billion lei, with the state contributing around 1.1 billion lei. Local authorities must also co-finance 25% of the investment. The stadium will have over 16,000 seats and include various facilities. The project was approved in 2024 and was considered a priority by the Ministry of Development.
