The Colosseum in Rome has extended its night tours to four days a week during the summer due to extreme heat, allowing visitors to explore the site until 11 PM. This change aims to provide a cooler alternative for tourists, with guided tours accommodating up to 275 visitors each night. The summer program is fully booked, and it may continue until September, supported by funding from the Italian Ministry of Culture. Other tourist attractions in Italy are also adapting to the heat, offering evening events and tours.
