Pîslaru announces that the Government is submitting the payment request number 5 of the PNRR

Romania is set to submit its fifth payment request under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, totaling 2.84 billion euros, as announced by Minister Dragoş Pîslaru. The request includes 75 targets, with 21 focused on reforms and 54 on investments. Following the submission, Romania's grant absorption rate will rise to 78%. Pîslaru emphasized the importance of maintaining the total grant allocation at 13.57 billion euros, despite revisions. He noted significant progress in absorption rates since the current government took office, increasing from 47.19% to 78% in just over a year. Only one more payment request will follow this submission.
