UNSAR: 5,4 milioane lei despăgubiri pentru locuințe afectate

In the first quarter of this year, UNSAR member insurance companies paid over 5.4 million lei for home insurance claims due to storms and floods. Approximately 1,200 claims were settled, averaging 13 homes compensated daily. This highlights the financial impact of unforeseen events on homeowners and the importance of optional insurance coverage. In the second quarter of 2026, around 3,400 damage cases were reported, indicating nearly 38 homeowners notified daily about such damages. UNSAR emphasizes the need for homeowners to regularly check their insurance coverage to ensure it reflects the true value of their property and the risks involved.
