Over 5,000 residents in Sucevița commune will benefit from flood risk reduction works costing 33.34 million lei, focusing on the Sucevița River and its tributaries. The project aims to stabilize riverbanks and reduce flood damage, with completed works on the Sucevița River and ongoing efforts on the Drăgoșina stream. Future interventions are planned for the Bercheza stream, enhancing protection for local households and public facilities, including a UNESCO heritage site.
