Departamentul de Stat al SUA: România îndeplinește cerințele minime de transparență fiscală

Romania meets the minimum fiscal transparency requirements for 2025, as per the US State Department's Fiscal Transparency Report 2026. The evaluation assesses public access to budget documents and their reliability. Out of 140 governments analyzed, 73 met the standards. The report emphasizes the importance of fiscal transparency for public finance management and market trust. New criteria include publishing terms of sovereign loans to foreign debtors. Transparency aids in preventing unfavorable loan conditions and supports economic sustainability. It also enhances public monitoring and international partners' confidence in resource management.
