The Zimbor - Poarta Sălajului section of the A3 Transylvania Highway will open on Tuesday at 16:00, according to CNAIR. The 12.24 km stretch connects Zimbor and Românași. Reception activities for this section begin on Monday. The project is funded through the Transport Program 2021-2027 and aims to enhance connectivity between Transylvania and Moldova. The construction is led by a consortium of companies and is expected to be completed within 36 months.
