The mayor of Aiud, Dragoș Crișan, has sued former mayor Oana Badea for allegedly calling him a liar during local council meetings. Crișan seeks a public apology from Badea, who has not complied despite attempts for an amicable resolution. Badea claims her inquiries about water price reductions triggered the conflict and states she was previously notified to apologize publicly. The court has yet to set a date for the case.
