The National Environmental Guard fined a construction site in Bucharest for illegally extracting groundwater and discharging it into the sewage system without proper permits. The site, located on Poterași Street, was found to be operating without necessary approvals from water management authorities. A fine of 15,000 lei was imposed, and the extraction activities were immediately suspended until compliance is achieved. Such inspections are ongoing across the city, with multiple companies facing penalties for similar violations.
