Mass Global Energy Rom has officially registered its gas power plant in Mintia, the largest in the EU, and has begun trial operations. The plant is expected to produce around 1,700 MW of electricity. During the trial phase, the company can deliver energy to the national grid while managing imbalances. It will report daily production plans to Transelectrica, which will determine pricing based on market conditions. The full capacity is set to be operational by June 30, 2027, with an initial 1,100 MW expected to be commercially available by the end of 2026.
