The construction of section 4 Tigveni - Curtea de Argeș of the A1 Sibiu - Pitești highway is nearing completion, with asphalt being laid on the final meters. The project is 95% complete, with 350 workers and 156 machines on site. Various finishing works are ongoing, including earthworks, drainage, and installation of protective measures. The Momaia tunnel is also being equipped with mechanical and electrical systems. The section is expected to open earlier than the contractual deadline of February 2027, allowing traffic on 54 km of the highway.
