Greek firefighters are battling a vegetation fire near Athens, with over 500 firefighters and 30 aircraft deployed. Despite reduced wind intensity, active hotspots remain a concern. Authorities aim to control the fire, which has already destroyed around 200 homes and 10,000 hectares of land. Evacuations may occur if conditions worsen, as temperatures are expected to reach 37 degrees Celsius.
