The National Meteorological Administration has extended heatwave warnings across Romania, with Alba County under an Orange Code for extreme temperatures until August 4. Highs of 38 degrees Celsius are expected, with a significant discomfort index. The heatwave will intensify and spread to southern and eastern regions starting August 4. Tropical nights with minimum temperatures of 20-25 degrees are anticipated. Yellow and Red Codes are also in effect for other areas, indicating persistent heat and high discomfort levels.
