Romania is not facing a fuel shortage despite temporary supply issues at some gas stations, according to Cristian Bușoi from the Ministry of Energy. A meeting with industry representatives is scheduled to address the situation. Fuel prices have surged, with diesel nearing 11 lei per liter. Some gas stations have run out of premium fuel, but these are isolated incidents. Recent legislation aims to stabilize prices and includes measures like limiting exports and gradually reducing excise duties. The law is pending presidential approval.
