Fuel prices in Romania have reached record highs, with diesel at 10.44 lei/l and gasoline at 9.39 lei/l, surpassing prices in Spain and Luxembourg. The increase is attributed to fluctuations in oil prices due to geopolitical tensions and supply disruptions. In just one day, gasoline rose by over 10 bani, while diesel increased by nearly 20 bani. Compared to last month, gasoline prices have surged by 8.4%, and diesel by 13.2%. Romania ranks 14th in the EU for the cheapest gasoline and 17th for diesel prices.
