Bulgaria pregătește un fond de 30 milioane EUR pentru startup-uri de apărare. România se bazează mai ales pe granturi UE și NATO - StartupCafe
Bulgaria is establishing a €30 million investment fund for companies developing strategic technologies, including defense solutions. The fund will allow investments of up to €5 million per company, focusing on various sectors such as cybersecurity and biotechnology. Unlike Romania, which relies on grants and international projects for defense startups, Bulgaria's approach enables direct public and private capital investment. The fund aims to support around 22 investments and will require private contributions alongside public funds. Romania's defense startups primarily seek EU and NATO funding, participating in programs like NATO DIANA and the European Defence Fund, which offer grants without equity dilution.
