A judge has ruled that artist D4vd will stand trial for the murder and dismemberment of a 14-year-old girl, Celeste Rivas Hernandez. Evidence presented during a preliminary hearing included shocking crime scene photos and DNA matches. D4vd, whose real name is David Burke, remains in custody without bail and faces first-degree murder charges, which could lead to the death penalty. Prosecutors also revealed that Burke had a significant amount of child pornography in his iCloud account. Hernandez was last seen alive in April 2025, and her body was discovered in September 2025, showing signs of severe mutilation.
