Romania is set to establish its first international-standard rowing base, the Arena de Canotaj PETROM, thanks to a €1.7 million investment from OMV Petrom. This facility will address the lack of an Olympic-standard rowing track in the country, enabling elite athlete training and hosting international competitions. The partnership aims to enhance the future of Romanian rowing, building on previous support for young talents. The launch event showcased plans for the arena and featured Romania's team for the upcoming European Championships.
