UE pregătește al 21-lea pachet de sancțiuni împotriva Rusiei: restricții pentru militari, criptomonede și importurile de pește
The EU has proposed its 21st sanctions package against Russia, aiming to freeze the price cap adjustment mechanism for Russian energy until 2026. The measures target Russian military personnel, the financial sector, and cryptocurrencies, including banning access to the EU for current and former Russian soldiers. For the first time, the EU is also proposing restrictions on fish imports from Russia and expanding sanctions on Belarus. Ursula von der Leyen emphasized that the goal is to increase economic pressure on Moscow and limit its ability to finance the war in Ukraine. The package includes over 170 proposals affecting various sectors and aims to prevent circumvention of sanctions through Belarus.
