Sindicaliștii pun stop discuțiilor cu Guvernul interimar. "Retrageți imediat Legea Salarizării. Nu mai participăm la nicio consultare"
The five national trade union confederations in Romania have announced the suspension of consultations regarding the Salary Law and demand its immediate withdrawal. This decision follows a court ruling that suspended the law and the ongoing discussions led by the interim Minister of Labor, despite the government's limited powers. The unions argue that the proposed law lacks credibility and has generated significant backlash from public sector employees. They call for a complete restart of the salary reform process under a new government with full constitutional powers, emphasizing the need for a balanced and sustainable legislative project. They also refute claims linking the Salary Law to financial crises, asserting that the current budgetary savings exceed the expected funds from the PNRR.
