Google, amendă uriașă de 890 de milioane de euro de la Comisia Europeană, pentru favorizarea propriilor servicii

The European Commission has fined Google €890 million for violating online competition laws by favoring its own services in search results and the Google Play store. The fines include €460 million for Google Search and €430 million for Google Play practices. The Commission found that Google provided preferential treatment to its services, violating the Digital Markets Act (DMA) by restricting developers from directing users to cheaper alternatives. Additionally, AliExpress was fined €550 million for failing to prevent the sale of illegal and counterfeit products in the EU.
