Two graduates from UMF Iași share their experiences overcoming language barriers and adapting to life in Romania while pursuing medical degrees. Xenia Pricop, from Italy, and Maia Haralambus, from Greece, reflect on their academic journeys and future plans. Both faced challenges in adjusting to a new educational system and culture but found support in their peers and families. Xenia graduated with a high average and plans to work and pursue further studies in Romania, while Maia, who also excelled academically, intends to return to Greece for her career. Their stories highlight the resilience and determination of international students in the medical field.
