The National Agency for Cadastre and Real Estate Publicity (ANCPI) is conducting free systematic registration of properties, benefiting both citizens and local authorities. This process enhances property management, facilitates access to European funds, and reduces litigation risks. Property owners are encouraged to verify their information during a 60-day public display period. Errors can be corrected during this time or later, according to legal provisions. The ANCPI is currently in Phase II of a project aimed at increasing property registration in rural areas, covering 660 communes and over 5.7 million hectares.
