Compania americană Lockheed Martin va produce interceptoare mai ieftine pentru sistemul Patriot, pe fondul creşterii costurilor cu apărarea aeriană

Lockheed Martin announced a cheaper version of its Patriot missile interceptors to meet military demands for cost-effective solutions against drones and missiles. The new PAC-3 ACE missile will cost less than half of the current PAC-3 MSE interceptors, which are priced around four million dollars each. Production could start within 36 months, with collaboration from U.S. and European partners. This move highlights the defense industry's response to increasing competition from startups offering affordable weaponry. The demand for Patriot interceptors has surged due to ongoing conflicts, particularly in Ukraine and the Middle East.
