This plan also includes first, second, and third-year residents. Rogobete emphasizes that fair compensation for on-call duties is a top priority, alongside addressing staff shortages. He plans to discuss the proposal with unions next week after reorganizing his team. Previously, he opposed a salary law that would have significantly reduced earnings for primary care doctors and nurses, warning it could lead to a major exodus of medical personnel. He noted that medical staff do not seek salary doubling, as recent adjustments have reduced pay disparities in healthcare.
