Perioadă dificilă pentru piața mondială a zahărului. Deficitul de aprovizionare ar urma să ajungă la aprope 6,3 milioane de tone - Economica.net
Global sugar supply deficit is projected to rise to 6.28 million tons in the 2026/2027 season, driven by poor production in major producing countries due to El Nino effects. Brazil's sugar output is significantly below initial forecasts, with a 14% decrease compared to last year. The EU's sugar production estimates have also been lowered due to adverse weather conditions. India's early processing decision may further reduce its sugar yield by 300,000 to 400,000 tons. Consequently, sugar prices have surged to a 19-month high.
