Ucraina negociază cu SUA eliminarea restricțiilor Starshield

Ukraine is negotiating with the U.S. and SpaceX to lift speed restrictions on the Starshield satellite communication system, which affects drone operations. The restrictions limit drone speed to 160 km/h, hindering Ukraine's ability to intercept Russian attacks. Ongoing discussions with the Pentagon and SpaceX have yet to yield results. The limitations have made Ukrainian drones more vulnerable, as they must fly slower, while Russian drones can exceed 400 km/h. Ukraine is exploring alternatives to reduce reliance on U.S. technology, including Amazon's satellite network and OneWeb services. Meanwhile, Russia is developing its own satellite communication system, Rassvet, which could enhance its drone and missile control capabilities.
