The Competition Council raised concerns about potential advantages Premier Energy could gain from controlling the distribution network, which may harm competitors. Proposed commitments include dissolving Evryo Power and ensuring a strictly technical role for Distribuție Energie Oltenia in supplier changes. The acquisition aims to consolidate Premier Energy's position in the Romanian market, following its previous purchase of CEZ Vânzare. The commitments are open for public debate until October 26, 2026.
