The Cultural Center "Reduta" in Brașov is launching registrations for the second edition of the Urban Knitting Camp, aimed at youth interested in traditional crafts. The workshops will take place from October 27 to 29, 2026, focusing on manual skills and wool knitting techniques under the guidance of instructor Gabriela Bularca. Eight participants aged over 10 and up to 21 years can enroll, with registration open from October 16 to 21, 2026, requiring a skill test. The project highlights cultural heritage, showcasing traditional knitted items as community memories. Knitting, once a family tradition, now offers a creative outlet in a mass-produced world.
