A 27-year-old man was detained by police after stealing a wallet and a phone from a 76-year-old woman near a church in Făgăraș. The incident occurred when the victim left her bag unattended. Following an emergency call, police conducted investigations that led to the suspect's identification. On October 14, after gathering evidence, the man was arrested and placed in preventive detention for 24 hours. The stolen items were recovered and returned to the victim.
