Scenariu FĂRĂ PRECEDENT în România! Alegeri anticipate... Vezi mai mult
Romania faces a potential political crisis as parties struggle to agree on a new prime minister, raising the possibility of early elections. However, constitutional conditions must be met for this to occur. If no majority is formed, the president can appoint a new candidate for prime minister, but a prolonged deadlock does not mean the government ceases to function. An interim government can operate with limited powers until a new one is sworn in. Discussions about early elections have emerged, but the legal framework for such elections is currently inadequate. If Parliament were dissolved, elections would need to be organized within three months, posing significant logistical challenges. Historically, Romania has never held early parliamentary elections since 1989, despite previous crises.
