Ștefan-Radu Oprea, despre contractul cu Rheinmetall: „Voi fi foarte transparent”

Ștefan-Radu Oprea, nominated for the Minister of Defense, emphasizes the need for transparency regarding Romania's contract with Rheinmetall. He acknowledged the existence of multiple contracts under the European SAFE program managed by different ministries. Oprea stated that while he cannot guarantee the declassification of the contract, he is committed to transparency in his actions. He noted that knowledge of the contract's details is limited to a few individuals. Additionally, the Ministry of National Defense has signed contracts worth nearly 10 million lei with Uzina Mecanică Sadu, and there are discussions about a potential PSD-Niculescu government.
