The Ministry of National Defense and Uzina Mecanică Sadu signed three contracts worth 9.88 million lei to supply ammunition and support the factory's revitalization. Minister Radu Miruță emphasized the importance of these agreements for equipping the Romanian Army and providing work for the factory's employees. The contracts are part of a broader effort to enhance strategic industrial capacities in Romania, including the production of ammunition for a new assault weapon. Miruță highlighted the factory's inclusion in the SAFE project, aimed at modernizing production lines and ensuring operational continuity during the transition to new investment projects.
