BREAKING | Autostrada Unirii: Curtea de Apel obligă CNIR să reevalueze oferta pentru ultimul tronson al Autostrăzii Târgu Neamț – Iași – Ungheni
The Bucharest Court of Appeal has ordered the National Company for Road Investments (CNIR) to reevaluate the offer from Itinera for the last section of the Târgu Neamț – Iași – Ungheni highway. This decision follows challenges from Concelex and Erbașu, marking the third contract under the SAFE program to be overturned by the court. The court's ruling requires CNIR to reassess Itinera's bid within 20 days, impacting the ongoing evaluation process. The project, which includes the first kilometers of highway in Moldova, is crucial for connecting Romania and Moldova and is funded by the European Security Action for Europe program. The contract is valued at 4.7 billion lei and includes significant infrastructure developments.
