Zi decisivă pentru Călin Georgescu. Tribunalul București hotărăște astăzi dacă va fi eliberat din arest
The Bucharest Tribunal is expected to decide on Călin Georgescu's request for a milder preventive measure in a fraud case involving 1.1 million euros. Initially scheduled for Monday, the ruling was postponed by a day. The same judge had previously denied the prosecutors' request for preventive arrest, opting for judicial control instead. Following an appeal, the Court of Appeal ordered Georgescu's arrest for 30 days, with differing opinions among the judges. Prosecutors allege that Georgescu is involved in fraud and organized crime, with a victim claiming to have lost 1.1 million euros due to a failed business deal. The case centers around a promised external financing of 6 million euros, which never materialized, leading to the victim's financial loss.
