Parents spent more time with their children, online shopping surged, and dog walking became a popular activity. Alcohol consumption increased notably, while strict regulations required citizens to carry permits for leaving home. By spring 2021, the city faced a third wave of COVID-19, with hospitals at full capacity. Vaccination efforts began to show results, leading to a gradual return to normalcy.
