Police in Brașov conducted a speed enforcement operation on DN 1, resulting in significant fines and numerous violations in just four hours. Over 40 officers used speed measuring devices to identify reckless drivers during peak risk hours. A total of 330 traffic violations were recorded, leading to fines amounting to 153,000 lei. Among these, 186 penalties were issued for various infractions, with 157 specifically for speeding. Additionally, six driving licenses were suspended due to serious violations, and one vehicle registration was confiscated for technical issues.
