Rusia își intensifică planurile de asasinare a directorilor companiilor europene de apărare, avertizează agențiile de informații
Western intelligence services have warned European defense company executives about increased assassination threats from Russia. In response, companies have heightened security measures. Amid the ongoing conflict in Ukraine and economic challenges in Russia, the Kremlin has intensified sabotage and hybrid operations in Europe to undermine support for Kyiv. Assassinations of civilian targets, once considered taboo, are now a significant part of these plans. Intelligence officials have indicated that high-ranking executives, especially from drone manufacturing firms, are at risk. The German domestic intelligence service has increased its engagement with defense industry leaders, noting a deliberate Russian strategy to commit violence against individuals. European intelligence has thwarted some assassination plots, but the primary goal remains psychological intimidation of company leadership supporting Ukraine.
