The Gendarmerie reported issuing 124 fines totaling 101,000 lei during the protests, which were deemed illegal. Protesters displayed banners demanding Georgescu's release and camped outside the facility. The Gendarmerie emphasized the need to maintain public order and noted several legal violations, leading to criminal complaints for threats, destruction, and other offenses. Georgescu was arrested on September 29 for forming a criminal group and fraud, sparking ongoing demonstrations.
