Cât timp poate fi menținută în siguranță centrala de la Cernavodă, în condițiile nivelului critic al Dunării

Petre Min from CNCAN stated that there are sufficient water reserves to ensure the safety of the nuclear facility for three days, despite low Danube levels. The Danube at Cernavodă has reached -259 cm, just above the operational limit. Measures are being taken to increase the river's flow, including creating a dam to direct more water to cooling pumps. Temporary increases in water discharge from reservoirs are also planned. In case of a nuclear accident, intervention plans are in place, but they are not automatically triggered by low water levels.
