The UN will conduct an AI training program for Romanian parliamentarians and staff, approved by the Parliament's leadership. This initiative aims to equip participants with knowledge about AI's opportunities, risks, and ethical implications. Scheduled for November 10-12, the program will feature experts from the UN and is seen as a crucial step towards responsible AI legislation. The training will cover AI functionality, associated risks, ethical considerations, and the role of parliaments in policy-making. Additionally, a proposal for establishing an AI committee in the Romanian Parliament has been made to enhance institutional capacity.
