Rompetrol Rafinare accelerează tranziţia energetică – centrală fotovoltaică pentru rafinăria Petromidia

Rompetrol Rafinare is investing in renewable energy by launching a photovoltaic plant project at the Petromidia refinery, with a capacity of 9.4 MW. The plant is expected to generate over 9,800 MWh of renewable energy annually for the refinery's own consumption, significantly reducing carbon emissions. The project, valued at approximately 44 million lei, includes 14 million lei in non-repayable funding from the Modernization Fund. It aims to enhance the refinery's renewable energy usage and contribute to national decarbonization goals. Additionally, Rompetrol is developing another photovoltaic plant at the Vega Ploiești refinery, furthering its commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency.
