Police in Arad conducted two home searches related to a fraud case involving a suspect accused of selling fake gold bars online. The suspect allegedly sold items claimed to be 24-karat gold, but were actually made from cheaper alloys. The estimated loss is around 5,000 lei. Investigators found five bars marked as Valcambi Suisse, suspected to be counterfeit, along with a mobile phone and SIM cards. A warrant for the suspect's arrest has been issued as the investigation continues under the supervision of the prosecutor.
