The project aims to enhance medical capacity and modernize facilities while maintaining the historical structure. The construction will take 26 months and requires careful logistics due to the busy urban area. The hospital, the oldest medical institution in Bucharest, has a rich history dating back to the 17th century, originally established as a monastery and later transformed into a hospital.
